In order to protect your rights, you can login to the service only from one PC at a time.

26. If I use 0060 everywhere to call someone’s mobile, what number will be shown on their display? And can I block my number from appearing at the distant end? Back
Your Hong Kong telephone number will be displayed on the receiving mobile phone’s display. This means the receiver would be able to return your call by dialing the number that appears. However, you can block your caller number from appearing if you click “Private Call 133” before making a call.

27. How can I make a phone call to Hong Kong when I am overseas? Back
If the 0060 everywhere software is installed on your computer and you are connected to the Internet, you can dial a Hong Kong telephone number (fixed line/mobile number) without using the country code (ie 852).

28. If I am using 0060 everywhere in another country, can I make a call to that country’s number? Back
Yes, you can do it. However, please be reminded that you must use our IDD 0060 service to make this chargeable call.

29. Does 0060 everywhere support the call-conferencing service? Back
Yes, 0060 everywhere supports voice call-conferencing service, but video call-conferencing is not available now.

30. Can I record a video or voice call? Back
Yes, you can record voice calls initiated by you or your caller. Video call recording is NOT available from this service.

You should check whether or not you are the “Administrator” (via the Control Panel). If your account has been set up as “Standard User” or “Restricted User”, then you will need to reconfigure this as an “Administrator” before further installation.

You can delete unwanted call history in just a few steps:
1) Move your cursor to the call history record
2) Right-click your mouse and select “Delete Record”

0060everywhere does not offer voicemail service.

39. Can I send free SMS via 0060 everywhere? Back
Yes. Using 0060 everywhere, you can send free-SMS within the free trial period to any 0060 everywhere, eye Multimedia Service, eye 2, eye Home Tablet, eye 3 Smart Communication Service and New Generation Fixed Line services user. This means you can contact your loved ones anytime you want.

40. Can I send MMS to mobile users? Back
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this service at present.

41. How many SMS can I save? Are they saved on the server or my PC? Back
The most recent 100 SMS (including incoming and outgoing SMS) will be saved on the SMS server. You can retrieve them from the client (SMS history section). If you send or receive the 101th SMS, the oldest SMS will be removed from the SMS history section and the SMS server.

42. How to send an SMS to multiple recipients? Back
You can now send SMS to a maximum of 10 recipients simultaneously. In order to do so, simply enter telephone numbers in the recipient input box, separating them with a semi-colon (ie ;).

43. What payment methods are available? Back
We only accept credit card payment in this stage.

44. Will you send paper-based bills to me? Back
Sorry, we only send bill alerts at this stage. However, you can check bill status or payment history via the “My Account” option.

45. Why does the amount on my first bill differ from my service plan charge? Back
If the service commencement date is not on our billing date, your credit card will be charged on a pro-rata basis from service switch-on date to first bill issue date. From the second bill onwards, customer shall pay service fee for the corresponding month / year.

Two scenarios exist by which credit card payment could have been processed in the middle of a month:
a) Your 0060 everywhere billing date falls in the middle of month, or
b) Your usage charge exceeds the 0060 everywhere credit limit: This kind of charge will be made against your credit card whenever the cost of your IDD call, international call forwarding or international SMS usage exceeds your credit limit.

47. How much do you charge for International calls (for destinations other than Hong Kong)? Back
IDD 0060 will be the default International call service provider, entitling subscribers to special IDD 0060 rates when they make International calls (other than to Hong Kong) or use our International call-forwarding service. 0060 everywhere utilizes the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) solution as part of our payment process. Our 128-bit SSL system assures that your credit card information remains secure.

There is no system requirement for this. However, if you have registered for Visa security programs [ie Verified by Visa (VbV)], you may need to enable your browser to accept cookies from your credit card issuer’s website. Please contact your credit card issuer for details.

50. I called my friend via the 0060 everywhere client but couldn’t get any sound from the Internet Phone. What should I do? Back
1) Enter the 0060 everywhere client settings page and go to device settings.
2) Select the Internet Phone as the audio-out device.
If you still get no audio from the Internet phone, you can adjust the Internet Phone speaker volume, as well as the volume bar on the client.

51. I called my friend via 0060 everywhere and I could hear his voice, but he couldn’t hear me. What should I do? Back
1) Please ensure you are not in “Voice Mute” mode. You can adjust your Internet Phone volume at the bottom of the client page.
2) After you turn on the Internet Phone, you can check device settings in the 0060 everywhere client. Please enter the 0060 everywhere client “Settings” page, then go to “Device Settings”. In the audio-out device, select the Internet Phone as your audio-in device.

52. When I made a 0060 everywhere video call to my friend , I could see him but he couldn’t see me. What should I do? Back
When you make a video call, you will see your video stream at the bottom left-hand corner of the client. If you find a problem in the video captured, you can go to device settings on the “Settings” page. Select your preferred video device from the pull-down menu.

53. Some Internet Phone keys don’t work. I get no reaction despite repeated attempts. What should I do? Back
You can carry out basic checks by:
1. Rebooting your computer
2. Re-connecting the Internet Phone
3. Turning on the 0060 everywhere client

58. How does the “Set Default Telephony” option work? Back
0060 everywhere will not disable all IE plug-in. We only disable similar telephone IE plug-in (e.g. Skype plug-in).

59. When I click the “Set Default Telephony” option using Windows Vista, what should I do if I get an “Internet Explorer Security” prompt? Back
IE runs in “Protected Mode” by default. This places IE’s execution in the low privilege category of UAC (ie User Account Control – a new feature only from Windows Vista). IE is therefore not allowed to perform sensitive actions. The “Set Default Telephony” option requires a higher privilege to perform certain actions, so the “Internet Explorer Security” prompt will seek your permission to elevate privilege and get the job done. You should simply click “Allow” for further installation and settings.

60. I am browsing a webpage, but I don’t see anything happening, even after I enable the 0060 everywhere IE plug-in. What should I do? Back
Press the “Refresh” button for the website and the 0060 everywhere IE plug-in will detect IE-listed phone numbers. However, even this recognition may fail to cover all phone numbers, you can still highlight a number and right-click to produce the “Click-to-Call” menu, which will enable you to make calls or send SMS to unrecognized numbers.

61. Many 0060 everywhere logos are shown on some websites. What’s happening? Back
If the IE plug-in is selected during client installation, a “Click-to-Call” function will be attached. This unique function means you simply click a recognized phone number presented with an 0060 everywhere logo to make voice and video calls or to send SMS.

62. How do I disable the 0060 everywhere IE plug-in service? Back
Simply open your IE browser menu and choose “Disable” mode. This means phone numbers on IE webpages will not be shown with 0060 everywhere logos.

63. If I uninstall the 0060 everywhere IE plug-in service accidentally, how should I reinstall? Back

0060 everywhere quality can be slightly impaired, as some Internet providers do not fully support Internet phone services. However, this newly-added “Network Compatibility” feature has been designed to resolve the problem.

71. The “Network Compatibility” icon appears to be switched off on the 0060 everywhere client. Should I activate it? Back
Our system keeps a running check on your network compatibility and will switch the feature on or off automatically, depending on need. If “Network Compatibility” is off when voice quality is satisfactory, we recommend that you maintain this setting for stable voice quality.

72. Is voice quality really affected if I keep “Network Compatibility” on? Back
Generally, voice quality will not be affected if you keep “Network Compatibility” on.

The following photo and video file format are supported:
Photo: JPG, GIF, PNG, BITMAP
Video: WMV, QT, RM, FLVG
Other non-listed file formats can also be shared for file save but cannot be viewed in the Talk-n-Share session.

Size limit of each shared file is 1GB. Maximum 30 files can be shared at the same time.

Make a conference call among three 0060 everywhere users, then the conference call initiator can invite the other 2 parties to join in Talk-n-Share by clicking the Talk-n-Share button.
